Role Overview :
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for architecting and maintaining high-performance backend services that power our clients' core business applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps specialists, to translate complex requirements into robust, scalable code.
Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of platforms serving thousands of concurrent users, ensuring that our technical solutions remain competitive and resilient in a rapidly evolving market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable backend services using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI to support high-traffic enterprise applications.
- Develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between frontend interfaces and backend data sources.
- Optimize database performance and query efficiency within MySQL environments to ensure rapid data retrieval and system stability.
- Orchestrate containerized deployments using Docker to ensure consistency across development, staging, and production environments on AWS.
- Author comprehensive unit and integration tests using PyTest to maintain high code quality and minimize technical debt during the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement performance improvements that enhance overall user experience.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building production-grade applications with 5 to 10 years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in designing RESTful architectures and managing relational databases, specifically MySQL, with a focus on data integrity and performance.
- Proven ability to manage version control workflows using Git in a collaborative, multi-developer environment.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, and the ability to containerize applications using Docker for efficient deployment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, reflecting a strong foundation in software design principles and algorithms.
