Senior Python Developer

Summary The candidate will join a team responsible for the development of a regulatory reporting cloud solution integrating with various source systems and third-party reporting solutions. Working alongside a product lead, squad lead, and technical leads.

Technical Skills The candidate must have deep technical expertise in at least one of the following areas, with a broad understanding across the entire stack:

• Cloud: AWS (Lambda, Lambda Layers, S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch)
• Infrastructure as Code: AWS CDK
• Programming Language: Python (hands-on for backend development)
• Database: PostgreSQL, knowledge of SQL programming

Soft Skills:

• Refinement: Ability to help refine requirements in conjunction with Business Analysts or Technical Leads.
• Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to the delivery team to ensure excellence and upskill junior members.
• Attributes: Must be a self-starter, comfortable in a dynamic environment, and able to reverse-engineer solutions when needed.
