Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack Development

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and deliver full-stack applications using Java and Vue.js.
• Build scalable backend services, APIs, and distributed systems using modern Java frameworks.
• Develop modern, responsive front-end applications using Vue.js.
• Design and optimize low-latency, high-throughput services using Aeron-based messaging frameworks.
• Take end-to-end ownership of features from design through development, deployment, and production support.
• Build and maintain integrations across APIs, messaging systems, databases, and enterprise platforms.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and technical documentation.
• Contribute to platform modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to AI/LLM technologies is a plus and may be leveraged for future platform enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8 - 14 years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services, investment management, capital markets, or other enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java and enterprise backend development.
• Experience building REST APIs, distributed systems, and full-stack applications.
• Strong experience with Vue.js.
• Experience with Aeron or similar low-latency messaging frameworks.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, asynchronous processing, messaging, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating applications across APIs, databases, messaging platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Proven ability to independently drive projects from design through delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to Have :

• Exposure to Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, or related technologies.
• Python experience, particularly for automation or AI integrations.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, vector databases, or similar frameworks.
• Exposure to financial markets, investment management, trading, or capital markets.
• Experience building high-performance or real-time systems.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake or other data warehouse technologies.
• Experience working in large enterprise or multi-vendor environments.
