Senior Software Engineer - Java

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Individual Contributor with a strong product engineering mindset to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java-based backend development, modern microservices architecture, and hands-on experience building AI-powered applications using Agentic AI frameworks. This role is suited for engineers who thrive in solving complex technical challenges, driving high-quality engineering practices, and delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend applications using Java and microservices architecture.
• Build and integrate intelligent AI-powered solutions leveraging Agentic AI frameworks and modern AI technologies.
• Contribute across the software development lifecycle, from solution design to deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality products.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, scalability, and security.
• Work closely with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud-native deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve engineering processes.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

• 610 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java.
• Solid experience in designing and developing microservices-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI application development.
• Strong product engineering background with experience building scalable enterprise applications.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containerization, and cloud deployment.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) domain.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
