Senior Software Engineer - Java

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Architect secure, scalable cloud-native applications on Azure/AWS.
• Lead system design, technical roadmaps, and multi-team initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and ensure reliability.
• Implement AI-assisted development, code generation, testing, and documentation.
• Establish AI usage guidelines, coding standards, and secure development practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, QE, and DevOps teams.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence.
• Own systems across development, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.

  Required Experience Skills

• 3 5 years of Java Backend Development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and microservices.
• Experience with Kafka, JMS, caching, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Database experience with Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Experience with LLM/GenAI, prompt engineering, and AI-driven developer tools.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, CQRS, Linux, and Tomcat.
• Strong system design, debugging, problem-solving, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience contributing to internal platforms or open-source projects is desirable.
