Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of hands-on experience in Python, Java, and Linux to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and contribute to architecture and product development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Python and Java.
• Develop clean, efficient, and reusable code following software development best practices.
• Work on Linux-based environments for application deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, backend services, and system integrations.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and security.
• Debug and resolve production issues in Linux environments.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for applications and processes.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices within the team.

Required Skills :

• 8 years of software development experience.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and Java.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
• Experience in object-oriented programming (OOP) and design principles.
• Good understanding of multithreading, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
