Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our quality assurance team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, scripting, and test execution across web and API layers. You'll work closely with development teams to ensure product quality and performance through automated testing solutions.

Key Skills: Selenium, Java/Python, TestNG, Cucumber, Jenkins, Git, JIRA, API Testing (Postman/RestAssured), CI/CD, SDLC, Agile Testing, SQL, Functional Testing, Regression Testing.

Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing. Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects using tools like JIRA. Collaborate with developers and QA leads to improve test coverage and quality.

Implement continuous testing within CI/CD pipelines. Identify areas for automation to reduce manual testing efforts. Troubleshoot automation issues and maintain framework stability. Participate in sprint planning and review meetings for Agile projects.

Technical Environment: Tools/Frameworks: Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, RestAssured Languages: Java, Python, or JavaScript CI/CD: Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps Testing Types: API, Functional, Regression, Smoke, Performance Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in Test Automation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Nice to Have: Experience with Cypress, Playwright, or Robot Framework. Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for test containerization. Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
