Simulation Platform Software Engineer

• *Responsibilities
• Build and maintain the simulation platform used to deliver engineering assessments.
• Architect and operate production systems on
• *AWS

(compute, S3 artifact storage, networking, IAM).

• Implement
• *dynamic runtime rendering**

of assessment UIs from S3-hosted task bundles.

• Build APIs consumed by the AI pipeline for training and scoring.
• Ensure isolation, reliability, and reproducibility of simulation environments.
• Collaborate with ME/EE engineers to onboard new tools and assessment types.
• *Requirements
• Hands-on experience with building simulation games or simulation platforms.
• Strong experience with
• *React, Next.js, and TypeScript

• Strong backend experience with
• *Node.js (Express) and Prisma ORM**

• Production experience with
• *PostgreSQL**

.

• Production experience deploying and operating systems on
• *AWS**

.

• Experience building session-based or real-time systems (WebSockets or similar).
• Experience with structured file pipelines and object storage (S3).
