About the Role :

The role of a Software Developer - Java involves designing, developing, and testing software applications using Java and related technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science and software engineering principles, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and test software applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, and perform log analysis to identify root causes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and processes

Minimum Qualification :

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology with minimum marks of 70% or CGPA 7.0 (on a scale of 10) from a reputed institution.

Essential Skillset :

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in version control tools.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, OOAD, design patterns, databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, ActiveMQ, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with basic CI/CD concepts.
• Experience in debugging and log analysis.
• Good command of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).

Desirable Skillset :

• Knowledge of SDLC, UML, and software quality practices.

Experience :

• Minimum 2 years of work experience in Java.
