About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Java or Python Software Developer specializing in CFS/RFS Modelling to join our Service Orchestration and MDSO Application Development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing micro-services, resource adapters, and data models within the telco transport domain.

Your expertise will support the development of scalable, containerized solutions that enhance our clients' network automation capabilities. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, translating complex requirements into functional software components. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects, leverage emerging technologies, and contribute to the evolution of next-generation network solutions.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in software development within the telecommunications industry. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in Java or Python, with a solid understanding of Linux operating systems (Ubuntu/RHEL) and cloud platforms such as AWS or OpenStack.

Experience with network modeling languages like Yang, YAML, or TOSCA, and familiarity with TMF modeling standards in the telco space are essential. Candidates should have a background in OSS/BSS systems, particularly in network automation, service modeling, and network topology. Strong analytical skills, the ability to distill requirements into detailed design documents, and experience working in DevOps environments are required.

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain micro-services, libraries, and features for Resource Adapters, Service templates, and data models, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality software components, adhering to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, and code reviews to ensure robustness and scalability of solutions.
• Implement containerized services using Docker or similar virtualization technologies, and develop RESTful APIs for seamless integration.
• Support internal testing, validation, and troubleshooting of software modules, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
• Engage with clients during discussions to gather requirements, clarify specifications, and support user acceptance testing.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and product updates related to Blue Planet and network automation tools.
• Contribute to documentation, training, and knowledge sharing to foster team growth and project success.
