API Developer / Python Developer (CDR/Open Banking Platform)

Role Summary
We are looking for an API Developer to design, develop, test, and support cloud-native microservices and API integrations for a Consumer Data Right (CDR) Data Adapter Platform. The developer will build secure and scalable APIs, implement data transformation logic, and integrate with banking and Open Banking ecosystems.
Preferred candidate profile
Development
- Develop Python-based microservices using FastAPI or Flask.
- Build and maintain REST APIs
- Develop reusable service components and integration frameworks.
Integration Development
- Integrate with Core Banking and Card Platform.
- Consume and expose APIs using Open Banking/CDR standards.
- Implement API orchestration and source-system connectors.
- Develop JSON-based transformation and mapping services.
Cloud-Native Development
- Containerize applications using Docker.
- Support Kubernetes deployments.
- Participate in CI/CD implementation and deployment activities.
- Support monitoring and logging implementation.
Testing & Quality
- Write unit and integration test cases.
- Support SIT, UAT, and performance testing activities.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects.
Operational Support
- Assist during deployment and production support activities.
- Analyze incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Contribute to technical documentation and runbooks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
