Role Overview :
As an SDE I, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust web applications that serve as the backbone of the Nprep ecosystem. You will work closely with product managers and design teams to translate complex requirements into clean, functional code. Your contributions will directly influence the platform's performance, ensuring a high-quality experience for thousands of users while maintaining the stability and scalability of our core services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and deploy end-to-end features using modern web frameworks to enhance user engagement and platform functionality.
- Architect and maintain server-side logic using Node.js to ensure high availability and low-latency response times for our services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party APIs and internal microservices, streamlining data flow across the application.
- Optimize database queries and application performance to support the growing scale of our user base.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions to uphold high engineering standards and technical excellence within the team.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in building scalable web applications using the full stack, with a strong emphasis on Node.js for backend development.
- Ability to design and manage relational or NoSQL databases to support complex application requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug intricate issues across the entire technology stack.
- Excellent communication skills, enabling you to articulate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment based in Bangalore.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- 1 - 5 years of professional experience in software development.
