Role Overview :
As an SDE-2 based in our Delhi office, you will serve as a core technical contributor responsible for designing and scaling high-performance backend systems that power our global product suite. You will work in a cross-functional environment, collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and frontend teams to translate complex business requirements into robust, maintainable code. Your work will directly influence the platform's reliability and latency, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of users while driving the technical roadmap for our next generation of microservices.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot to ensure high availability and fault tolerance for critical business workflows.
- Design complex data pipelines and event-driven systems using Kafka to facilitate real-time data processing and seamless inter-service communication.
- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from technical design documentation and HLD reviews to deployment and performance tuning on AWS infrastructure.
- Mentor junior engineers through rigorous code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to elevate the overall engineering standards of the team.
- Optimize system performance by applying advanced Data Structures and Algorithms to solve bottlenecks, directly improving user-facing response times and operational efficiency.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building distributed systems with Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture, backed by 5 to 7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven ability to design and manage cloud-native applications on AWS, utilizing services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda to build resilient infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in High-Level Design (HLD) and system architecture, with a track record of making sound trade-offs between consistency, availability, and partition tolerance.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills rooted in a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms, enabling the development of efficient and clean code.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a premier institute, reflecting a strong foundation in core engineering principles.
