Software Development Engineer - Java/Python

About the Role :

We're hiring across SDE levels whether you're just starting out or a seasoned engineer with system design chops, we have a place for you.

What You'll Do :

• Design, develop, and maintain features across MoveInSync's core product platform.
• Write clean, maintainable code in Java or Python with a focus on reliability and scale.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship features end to end.
• For SDE-2 and above: contribute to system design, service architecture, and code reviews.
• For SDE-3: lead technical design discussions, mentor junior engineers, and own delivery across complex modules.

Must Have :

• Strong DSA fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Java or Python ability to write production-quality code.
• For SDE-3: proven experience working on scale, system design, and distributed systems.

Good to Have :

• Springboot backend service development.
• Claude-code, Kafka, Postgres, Redis experience with any of these is a strong plus.
• Prior experience at a product company or scale-up.
