Software Engineer - Backend Development

DevFyndr is partnering with a fast-growing technology company in Bangalore to hire exceptional Backend Engineers who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance systems.

What You'll Do :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs using Python.
• Build reliable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and designers to deliver impactful features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system stability.

What We're Looking For :

• 2 to 6 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized deployments is a plus.
• Understanding of distributed systems, caching, queues, and asynchronous processing is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Nice to Have :

• Experience building AI/ML-powered applications.
• Exposure to event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Contributions to open-source projects or an active GitHub profile.
