We are looking for a Software Engineer I with strong backend development skills to build scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, along with a passion for writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 11/17 and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven services using messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code following SOLID principles and modern software engineering best practices.
- Develop and execute unit and integration tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Support application deployment and monitoring using CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
- Contribute to secure software development practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 24 years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 11/17, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with messaging platforms such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Good understanding of relational databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, and automated testing.
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes (GKE/OpenShift), or cloud platforms is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Education (Mandatory):
- Full-time B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MS, or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
