Role Overview :
As a Software Engineer, you will be at the heart of our engineering team, designing and building scalable backend systems that power our core product offerings. You will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into high-performance technical solutions. Your work will directly influence the platform's reliability and speed, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of users while driving the technical roadmap for our next generation of services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and develop robust microservices using Java and Python to ensure high availability and modularity of our platform services.
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries and database schemas to improve data retrieval efficiency and system performance for end-users.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker and AWS to accelerate deployment cycles and ensure consistent release quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues by performing deep-dive analysis into system logs and performance bottlenecks to maintain platform stability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies to align technical progress with business goals and ensure transparent communication across the development lifecycle.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing scalable systems using Microservices Architecture, with a deep understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex computational problems.
- Proven ability to build and consume RESTful APIs while maintaining high standards for code quality and documentation within a Linux-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in version control workflows using Git, ensuring seamless collaboration and code integrity within large engineering teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset toward continuous learning, with the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment that values autonomy and collective ownership.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 4 - 9 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle software development.
