Job Title : Software Engineer Python + Docker (Freelance Contract)

Location : Remote

Employment Type : Short-Term Contract (23 Weeks, with possible extension)

Join a cutting-edge AI initiative with Turing, one of the world's fastest-growing AI companies. As a Python Software Engineer, you'll contribute to building backend systems, AI training datasets, SaaS connectors, and evaluation frameworks that help power the next generation of AI models.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop Python backend applications using FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Build and maintain REST APIs and microservices
• Create and extend connectors for SaaS platforms such as Slack, Jira, Gmail, Notion, Linear, and similar tools
• Perform backend testing, validation, and quality assurance
• Build new integrations and enhance existing connectors
• Mine workflows and create realistic AI training tasks
• Write evaluation rubrics and perform structured QA
• Collaborate with distributed engineering teams
• Use AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot throughout the development lifecycle

Required Skills :

• 3+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization
• Experience with Git and software development best practices
• Experience building REST APIs and scalable backend applications
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Skills :

• Experience building SaaS integrations or connectors
• Experience with AI data annotation, evaluation, or QA
• Knowledge of workflow automation and long-horizon AI task creation
• Previous experience working on AI or LLM-related projects
