Software Engineering Intern - Frontend (React.js)

We are seeking a motivated Frontend Development Intern with a solid foundation in React.js to contribute to our engineering team’s mission of building scalable, user-centric web applications.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across infrastructure, design, and product to deliver high-quality, performant digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement responsive, user-facing features using React.js and modern frontend tooling.
• Architect and build reusable, maintainable UI components and libraries to accelerate future development.
• Transform product designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and accessible code.
• Optimize component performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across diverse devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and iterative improvement of existing features.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6 ), including asynchronous programming, DOM manipulation, and functional concepts.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, including hooks, context, state management, and component lifecycle.
• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite) and package managers (e.g., npm, yarn).
• Experience working with RESTful APIs and basic understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, and error handling.
• Ability to interpret design mockups and translate them into pixel-perfect, responsive UIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new technologies.

Minimum Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Class of 2025 or 2026).
• Availability to commit to a full-time 6-month internship.
• Willingness to relocate to Bangalore (on-site or hybrid arrangement).

Preferred Qualifications (Not mandatory, but a plus)

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux Toolkit or Zustand.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
• Portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing personal or academic projects.
