Role Overview :
As a Software Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications that power our immigration management platforms.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and system architects, to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience for our global clientele, ensuring that our systems remain reliable, secure, and capable of handling complex data structures in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and optimize backend services using Java and Python to ensure high performance and system reliability for our immigration processing tools.
- Design efficient database schemas and write complex SQL queries to manage large-scale applicant data with integrity and speed.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement features within an Agile framework, ensuring timely delivery of software updates and bug fixes.
- Manage version control and code deployment workflows using Git to maintain high standards of code quality and collaboration.
- Perform system administration tasks on Linux-based environments to ensure server stability and seamless application performance.
- Participate in the full SDLC, from initial requirement gathering and system design to final testing and production deployment.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in building scalable backend applications using Java and Python, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Strong grasp of Data Structures and Algorithms to solve complex computational problems and optimize application performance.
- Proven ability to manage relational databases through advanced SQL query writing and database optimization techniques.
- Solid experience working within Linux environments, including shell scripting and basic server management.
- Expertise in the full SDLC, with a track record of delivering high-quality code in fast-paced, Agile development environments.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a distributed or remote team setup.
- Ability to manage version control workflows using Git, ensuring clean code integration and collaborative development.
- Candidates must possess 3 to 12 years of relevant professional experience in software development.
