Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Spring Boot Microservices Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, and Azure SQL Database. The role involves building high-performance backend services, integrating distributed systems, and deploying secure, resilient applications on Azure while collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities :
1.
Backend Application
Development :
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable and maintainable backend services following Microservices Architecture principles.
- Develop clean, reusable, and efficient code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Enhance application performance, scalability, and reliability.
2.
Microservices
Development :
- Design and implement independently deployable microservices using Spring Boot.
- Develop loosely coupled, highly available, and fault-tolerant services.
- Implement service discovery, centralized configuration, and inter-service communication.
- Build event-driven and distributed systems where required.
- Ensure seamless integration between multiple enterprise applications.
3. REST API Development :
- Design and develop secure RESTful APIs using Spring Boot.
- Implement API versioning, validation, exception handling, logging, and documentation.
- Build APIs for internal systems as well as external client integrations.
- Implement authentication and authorization using industry-standard security frameworks.
- Optimize API performance and ensure high availability.
4.
Azure Cloud
Development :
- Develop and deploy applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Work with Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Application Insights.
- Configure cloud-native applications for scalability, monitoring, and resilience.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for infrastructure automation and cloud deployments.
5.
Database
Development :
- Design and maintain databases using Azure SQL Database.
- Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
- Optimize database performance through indexing and query tuning.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and backup strategies.
- Integrate Spring applications with Azure SQL using Spring Data JPA and Hibernate.
6. Integration & Messaging:
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems using REST APIs.
- Develop asynchronous communication mechanisms using messaging platforms when required.
- Ensure reliable data exchange and transaction management across distributed systems.
7. DevOps & CI/CD :
- Participate in CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines.
- Manage source code using Git.
- Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes where applicable.
8.
Quality
Assurance & Best Practices :
- Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Participate in peer code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Experience :
- 5- 10 years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development.
- Experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in Azure SQL Database and performance optimization.
- Experience developing scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment best practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills.
