SQL Developer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SQL Developer to join our growing Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong SQL expertise, hands-on experience with relational databases, performance tuning, ETL processes, and the ability to build scalable, high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable database schemas, tables, views, constraints, indexes, and relationships.

• Develop and maintain Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and complex SQL Queries.
• Analyze and optimize slow-running SQL queries using execution plans and profiling tools.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, deduplication, and transformation logic.
• Collaborate with DBAs to manage permissions, security policies, encryption, and access controls.
• Monitor database jobs and support production issue resolution.
• Maintain technical documentation including database models and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.

• Advanced SQL expertise including Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Window Functions, Indexing, and Query Optimization.
• Strong understanding of relational database design, normalization, denormalization, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Informatica, or Talend.
• Familiarity with tools like SSMS, pgAdmin, DBeaver, Toad, or Redgate.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Exposure to AWS services like S3, Redshift, Glue, or RDS.
• Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
