Job Summary :
We are looking for a skilled SQL Developer to join our team and play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of complex database systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with SQL Server, with an emphasis on writing and optimizing stored procedures, queries, and data workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.
- Optimize existing SQL code for performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including data integrity and performance problems.
- Collaborate with software developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand data requirements.
- Create and maintain database documentation including ER diagrams and data dictionaries.
- Ensure database solutions are secure, scalable, and meet best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and support development lifecycle processes.
- Drive innovation and implement efficient new approaches to data engineering tasks.
- Closely collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) or Business Users to gather requirements and establish connections to source systems.
- Provide ongoing production support, including issue resolution and system maintenance to ensure seamless business operations.
Required Skills &
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of experience in SQL development.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, joins, sub-queries, and stored procedures.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and normalization.
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
- Experience with database tools such as SSMS, TOAD, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills (Optional) :
- Experience with ETL processes and tools (e.g., SSIS, Talend, Informatica).
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Basic understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
