Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with proper documentation
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize both application and database performance bottlenecks
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and backend architecture
Core Database Expertise (Must-Have)
Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database
Strong proficiency in SQL including:
o Views o Indexes (clustered, non-clustered, performance tuning)
o Stored Procedures
Strong experience in designing efficient and scalable database schemas
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
Knowledge of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms
Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment
Experience with AWS cloud platform
Exposure to Docker, containers, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with async programming, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), or background workers (Celery)
Understanding of microservices architecture
Previous experience in data, AI, or analytics-driven platforms
Strong emphasis will be placed on database-related problem-solving during interviews, including:
o SQLqueryoptimization scenarios o Indexing strategies o Execution plan analysis o Real-world performance tuning use cases
