Staff Engineer - Full Stack Development - Node.js/Javascript

Job Description : The Staff Engineer Full Stack is a senior technical leader responsible for designing, building, and scaling high-performance web applications and services.

This role combines deep hands-on development with architectural leadership, focusing on modern JavaScript ecosystems, including Node.js and contemporary frontend frameworks.

The Staff Engineer collaborates closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable solutions, while also mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practices.

Experience with building and integrating cross-platform mobile applications (e.g. , React Native or similar frameworks) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities :

• Design and build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and microservices, while developing responsive, high-performance frontend applications.
• Architect highly scalable distributed systems.
• Co-own and contribute building extremely high volume, fault tolerant, scalable and secure systems.
• Challenge status-quo and lead/participate in on-going reviews to further optimize the solution(s)
• Proactively prevent outages/issues and build mechanisms to troubleshoot & resolve issues with SLA
• Support, mentor and train other engineers
• Collaborate with Product Management to build, execute, and maintain a roadmap

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in full stack / micro services / web application design and development
• Experience building event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Proficiency in Data Structures & Algorithms
• Strong experience & expertise with React, Typescript & Javascript, and Node js
• Strong expertise with SQL and NoSQL databases & performance optimization
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Strong fundamentals : OOP, Functional programming language, Web Security, Design Patterns, Fault Tolerance, etc
• Expertise converting business requirements into scalable, resilient systems

Preferred Qualifications :

• In-depth knowledge of web ecosystem and its internals
• Expertise building cross platform mobile SDKs, web apps
• Expertise with linux/mac/unix shell scripting
• Experience working in a fast-growing startup environment
• Experience with agile, iterative development methodologies
• Thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment

Experience Range : 6 - 8 years

Educational Qualifications : B.Tech/B.E ,and M.Tech
