Staff Software Engineer - Java/Spring Boot

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to become a trusted technical authority for our Pricing domain. You will operate beyond individual feature delivery, taking ambiguous technical problems and driving them from architecture through production rollout.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop a deep understanding of the Pricing Platform, architecture, business rules, and operational characteristics.
• Deliver complex pricing capabilities while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Reduce architectural complexity and address technical debt.
• Improve platform reliability, observability, performance, and security.
• Mentor engineers and improve technical designs and code reviews.
• Build strong relationships with Product, Architecture, SRE, and Security teams.

Technical Requirements :

• 8 - 12 years of relevant professional software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and the Java ecosystem.
• Strong experience designing and operating RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and the TypeScript ecosystem.
• Strong experience designing and building applications on AWS.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and high-availability architecture.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and observability techniques (logs, metrics, traces).
