Technical Lead - Java

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background, excellent leadership skills, and hands-on expertise in modern backend and cloud technologies.

You will lead a team of developers, define technical architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance applications.
• Define technical architecture and establish engineering best practices.
• Mentor and guide software engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and career development.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver business requirements.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Drive application performance optimization, scalability, and reliability initiatives.
• Ensure high code quality through coding standards, unit testing, and automated testing.
• Participate in technical planning, estimation, sprint execution, and release management.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide technical leadership during incident resolution.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support cloud-native deployments.
• Promote Agile development practices and continuous improvement across the engineering team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.

Required Skills:

• 810 years of software development experience with at least 23 years in a technical leadership role.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and event-driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of system design, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and software development best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in product-based organizations or high-growth technology companies.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, or Splunk.
• Exposure to security best practices, performance tuning, and scalability optimization.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
