Position Description

We are looking for an experienced Techno-Functional Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and front-end technologies such as ReactJS or Angular. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications, building backend services, integrating RESTful APIs, and deploying applications on AWS Cloud.

The candidate should also possess an understanding of financial products, cash flows, discount factors, and risk calculation concepts, preferably with experience in high-performance computing, risk analytics, or financial calculation engines.

Your future duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and ReactJS or Angular.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end components using ReactJS or Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS Cloud.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build and deployment.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
• Follow Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of full lifecycle backend software development experience.
• Strong Core Java knowledge, including Multithreading, Concurrency, and JVM Internals.
• Experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring Data.
• Experience with ReactJS and JavaScript.
• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle, including query optimization and handling large datasets.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Experience with AWS Cloud services.
• Strong commitment to Clean Code, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and automated testing practices.
• Intermediate understanding of financial products, cash flows, discount factors, or risk calculation concepts such as Value at Risk (VaR), RAROC, and Solvency II.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with NoSQL databases or in-memory caching technologies such as Redis and Hazelcast.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in high-performance computing, risk analytics, or financial calculation engines.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation.
