Role : Senior Python Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Python Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python-based backend frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, designing robust backend services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires hands-on development experience, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute to architectural and design decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

• Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Implement business logic, data models, and scalable backend services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms using JWT/OAuth2.
• Write secure, maintainable, and high-performance backend code.

General Responsibilities :

• Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full application stack.
• Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes, application deployments, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Backend :

• Strong experience with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Expertise in REST API development and microservices-based architecture.
• Experience with ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
• Strong knowledge of database design, query optimisation, and data modelling.

Additional Skills :

• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
• Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with GraphQL and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and pytest.
• Exposure to Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education :

• Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent industry experience.
