THE OPPORTUNITY :

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will play an important role in developing key platform features, including a proprietary decisioning system, robust data security for AI applications, and advanced document-parsing tools. Your work will help automate document verification, data extraction, and decision-support workflows.

You will collaborate with experienced engineers in a fast-paced, product-focused environment, working with technologies such as Node.js, PostgreSQL, Python, and React.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Full Stack Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, and React.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable application features.
• Develop responsive and efficient user interfaces integrated with robust backend services.

AI and Document Processing :

• Build Python-based AI pipelines to automate document processing and underwriting workflows.
• Contribute to document verification, data extraction, and decision-support capabilities.
• Support the integration of AI-powered features into the core platform.

Collaboration and Product Development :

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate user requirements into scalable, efficient code.
• Participate in technical discussions and contribute to feature planning and implementation.
• Work closely with team members to deliver high-quality product features.

Performance and Scalability :

• Optimize application performance and ensure efficient data flow and real-time functionality.
• Identify and resolve technical issues across the application stack.
• Contribute to architectural decisions that support platform scalability and long-term growth.

Code Quality and Deployment :

• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Follow software development best practices to ensure code quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and PostgreSQL, with experience in Python and hands-on experience with React.
• Strong understanding of backend development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database design.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and scalable application architectures.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into software applications.
• Exposure to document processing, financial technology, or automated underwriting workflows.
