Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned UI Developer to join our high-impact engineering team in Bangalore or Gurgaon for a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex, scalable user interfaces that serve as the face of our enterprise products.
You will work in close collaboration with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to translate intricate business requirements into seamless, high-performance digital experiences. Your contribution will directly influence customer retention and platform usability, ensuring our applications remain at the forefront of industry standards while maintaining architectural integrity across our ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and develop robust UI components using React.js and TypeScript to ensure high maintainability and performance for our end-users.
- Implement Micro Frontends architecture to enable independent deployment and scaling of complex modules, reducing time-to-market for new features.
- Integrate complex REST APIs to facilitate seamless data flow between the frontend and backend, ensuring a responsive and reliable user experience.
- Refactor and migrate legacy AngularJS codebases to modern frameworks, improving system stability and developer productivity.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to uphold engineering excellence and architectural consistency across the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure that UI deliverables align with broader business objectives.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building large-scale web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript, with a deep understanding of state management and component lifecycle.
- Proven ability to design and maintain Micro Frontends, balancing modularity with overall application performance.
- Strong proficiency in consuming and optimizing REST APIs to ensure high-speed data rendering and efficient network utilization.
- Extensive experience in transitioning legacy systems, specifically AngularJS, into modern, scalable frontend architectures.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment, demonstrating self-discipline and the capacity to deliver high-quality code under tight deadlines.
- A minimum of 8 to 13 years of professional experience in frontend development, ideally backed by a strong academic foundation in Computer Science or a related field.
