Vikruthi Technologies - Node.js Developer

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with strong backend development skills and exposure to Python, CI/CD practices, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend applications, building APIs, integrating services, and contributing to reliable application deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrate third-party services and external systems.
• Develop reusable, efficient, and maintainable code following software engineering best practices.
• Use Python for scripting, automation, and supporting application development tasks.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to deliver application features.
• Write and maintain unit tests, troubleshoot defects, and optimise application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards, version control practices, and technical documentation guidelines.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, testing, and deployment processes.
• Assist in deploying and maintaining applications on cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Monitor application performance, investigate production issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Contribute to improving development workflows, deployment reliability, and application scalability.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 4 - 7 years of experience in software development, with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and a good understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and backend development.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs and backend services.
• Working experience with Python for scripting, automation, or application development.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated build and deployment workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of Git, code reviews, debugging, and software testing practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
