Role : Software Development Engineer

We require someone who can operate within a POD with minimal supervision from the engineering manager. He/She should have the capability to comprehend PRDs, break them down into smaller problems, and independently handle the coding and release process.

Responsibilities :

• Monitor and optimize business metrics within the POD.
• Manage Microservices effectively.
• Maintain Service Uptime.
• Achieve zero or negligible errors in production.
• Ensure code quality standards meet Sonar criteria.
• Mentor junior team members.
• Participate in On-Call and incident reduction efforts.

Requirements :

Core skills :

• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and coding.
• Expertise in low-level design.
• Competence in SQL databases and NoSQL databases.
• Capability to conduct code and design reviews.
• Proficiency in computer science fundamentals, including operating systems.

Additional Skills :

• Familiarity with high-level design.
• Knowledge of deployment and production environments.
