Job Summary :

We are looking for experienced Senior Python Backend Engineers with strong expertise in backend application development, system design, cloud-native applications, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should be hands-on with Python and capable of designing and developing scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend applications. This is an Individual Contributor role, requiring strong technical ownership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Own backend application development from design through implementation and deployment.
• Design scalable and reliable systems using System Design and Architecture principles.
• Develop and work with cloud-native applications.
• Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services for application development, deployment, and scalability.
• Analyze complex technical requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready Python code.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and architecture teams.
• Take ownership of technical deliverables and contribute to engineering best practices.

Mandatory Skills :

• 7 - 15 years of overall IT/software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python.
• Strong experience in Backend Application Development.
• Good understanding of System Design & Architecture.
• Experience building Cloud-Native Applications.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work as an Individual Contributor (IC).

Good-to-Have Skills :

• Exposure to AI/ML projects and AI tools.
• Experience mentoring or technically guiding junior engineers.
• Experience in Finance, Healthcare, or other enterprise domains.
• Experience with scalable and distributed systems.
