Wordpress Developer - Theme & Plugin Development

We are hiring a skilled WordPress Developer with strong expertise in PHP and WordPress VIP to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, customizing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable WordPress applications with a focus on performance, security, and best development practices.

Role : WordPress Developer

Location : Remote

Experience : 4+ Years

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress-based websites and applications.
• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and reusable components.
• Work extensively with PHP for backend development and customization.
• Build scalable and secure solutions using WordPress VIP best practices.
• Optimize website performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security issues.
• Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and external services.
• Ensure clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, QA, and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews, deployment, and maintenance activities.

Mandatory Skills :

• Strong hands-on experience in WordPress Development
• Strong proficiency in PHP
• Experience working with WordPress VIP
• Good understanding of custom theme and plugin development
• Experience with REST APIs, debugging, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with Git/version control and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills :

• Knowledge of website security best practices
• Experience with CI/CD workflows and cloud-based deployments
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Requirements :

• 4+ years of experience in WordPress and PHP development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
