Zensar Technologies - Java Full Stack Lead

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Lead with 10+ years of strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and leading enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
• Develop robust and high-performance backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Microservices.
• Design and develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs.
• Build responsive and maintainable frontend applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Work with Oracle databases, including query optimization, database design, and data access.
• Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
• Implement application security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
• Define and maintain API specifications and documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Use Git and modern version-control practices for source code management.
• Leverage GitHub Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools to improve developer productivity and code quality.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, and solution planning.
• Identify technical challenges and provide effective, scalable solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security practices, testing standards, and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement of applications.

Required Skills :

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java.
• Excellent experience with Spring Boot and Spring Microservices.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and API design principles.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Good experience with Oracle Database and SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger for API documentation.
• Strong understanding of OAuth2 and JWT security mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted coding tools.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Good knowledge of application performance, scalability, and security best practices.
• Strong technical leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently drive technical initiatives from design to implementation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to mentor, guide, and motivate engineering teams.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software development and modern engineering tools.
