I am basically a visual artist with a couple of years experience in graphic design when I was starting off. I then moved to traditional animation and worked for around 20+ years in various capacities from pre-production to directorial. Me and an associate had started an animation boutique studio which we ran for 10 years and had to close down during the covid 19 years. I work as a freelance illustrator and a part time animation teacher.
I’m a Digital Illustrator and Character Designer with over 25 years of creative experience in the animation and visual arts industry.
Co-founder and Creative Director at Aroha Media and Toonzera, I’ve led and delivered projects for clients across India, Europe, and the U.S. Today, my focus is on character design, concept art, and digital illustration—crafting expressive visuals that bring stories and ideas to life. I’m passionate about creativity, collaboration, and high-quality design that connects with audiences.
Trained in both Commercial Arts and Classical Animation, I combine a strong foundation in traditional design principles with storytelling and character development skills. I hold a Diploma in Commercial Arts from AKMV, Pune, and a Diploma in Classical Animation from Vancouver Film School, Canada. This blend of fine arts and animation training shapes my approach to expressive character design and detailed digital illustration.
