• Working as Business Head – Agroforestry and Agroecology Projects in Pallishree Limited, Arambagh, Hooghly. Job profile includes:
  • Sales and marketingof Nursery plantsand in landscaping works.
  • Maintenance of good qualityplants including perennials and seasonal plants.
  • Import and marketingof various ornamental plants.
  • Welfare of field supervisors and labours.
  • Getting in touch with Tissueculture department and R&D for betterment of the products.
  • Plantation in difficult areas that will improve the area aesthetically as well as in quality.
  • Leading the team in various plantation drives funded by CSR funds of different companies.
  • Proposing different Agroforestry models to farmers and go through mass plantation in participatory mode.
  • Documentations and proposal submissions to big corporate houses for CSR funds.
  • Execution of the plantations by choosing appropriate species of plants suitable for the location and determining reclamation procedure required if any.
  • Learning important methods of Carbon Sequestration through NBS that can suit COP26 and Paris Agreement and implementing them.
• Managing a parallel post of Subject Matter Consultant and Program Head in a Trust called Uttarayan Wildlife under the banner of Pallishree Limited. Job profile includes:
  • Leading the team in various Carbon Sequestration and Ecological Restoration projects funded by different Corporate houses.
  • Planning with the team for proper execution of the project.
  • Finding various Environmental friendly solutions for the projects’ goal.
  • Suggesting Nature Based Solutions that can achieve Sustainable Development Goals for the farmers and can provide steps as per project goals, so that both parties can have a Win-Win situation.
  • Implementing good alternatives in terms of agriculture as well as social welfare.
  • Proposing different Agroforestry models to farmers and go through mass plantation in participatory mode.
  • Documentations and report submissions to the funding agencies.
  • Execution of the plantations by choosing appropriate species of plants suitable for the location and determining reclamation procedure required if any.
  • Follow-up of the field staffs and providing technical support and solutions to them.
