I am Abin Oscar, a dedicated Optoelectronics Engineer and committed researcher. With a strong educational background and a Master's degree in Optoelectronics and Optical Communication, I have acquired in-depth knowledge and expertise in my field. My research on "Biofluorescent Packaging Material" was recognized with the prestigious Best Paper Prize at the Raman Optronics Webinar Series 2021 Virtual International Conference, highlighting the significance of my contributions.
Additionally, I hold certifications such as the NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, Autodesk Certified User in 3ds Max, Solidworks, and AutoCAD, which further validate my technical proficiency. I believe in continuous learning, and I actively seek opportunities to expand my skills and stay ahead of industry standards.
Currently employed as a Space Architecture Researcher at the Deep Space Initiative in Denver, Colorado, working remotely for the Andromeda Research Program, my responsibilities involve designing a lunar habitat, analyzing the energy requirements for the habitat, and developing contingency plans for emergency situations.
I completed my Master of Technology degree in Optoelectronics and Optical Communication from the University of Kerala. My thesis focused on "Biofluorescent Packaging Material." During my studies, I gained experience in various spectroscopic techniques such as Photoluminescence (PL) Spectroscopy, Ultraviolet (UV) Spectroscopy, and Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectroscopy, as well as Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (ESPI). Additionally, I received hands-on training in Lightrunner, COMSOL Multiphysics, and Optisystem.
Notably, my master's thesis research on "Biofluorescent Packaging Material" received recognition by winning the best paper prize at the December 2021 Raman Optronics Webinar Series 2021 Virtual International Conference.
