Supplier Development Team Lead at GE Transportation, a Wabtec Company (2016-05 – 2020-08)

Led a team of 3 SQEs in Engineered Systems; managed new supplier development, new component development, operations support, PPAP, APQP and Six Sigma DMAIC projects. Led component development in Engineered Products commodity for the Indian Railways program involving 1,000 diesel locomotives, one of India's major Make in India locomotive programs.

• Developed a new air filter for the locomotive braking system and led a Six Sigma Black Belt project that eliminated premature air leakage and brake-failure issues, generating INR 89 lakh annual warranty savings.
• Led localization of traction motor and alternator assembly at GE MMF, Chakan—the first development and assembly of these products outside the US—and developed associated bus rings and bus bars.
• Developed hydraulic hoses and connectors for locomotive braking, cooling and lubrication systems.
• Received GE Award for Operational Excellence (2018) for successful traction motor and alternator development and assembly outside the US; received recognition from GE Transportation India CEO for eliminating locomotive brake failures.
