Automated KYC extraction for the same origination workflow (Aadhaar, PAN, salary slips) using Document Understanding — personally built the Taxonomy and document classification (keyword-based + ML classifiers), trained the ML Extractor, and set up confidence-based validation: extractions scoring below 90% were routed to Validation Station for human review. Held 96% field accuracy; turnaround dropped from 3 days to 4 hours, saving around INR 72 lakhs annually.
Automation consumed applicant data from Finacle Core Banking's REST API, feeding it into the eligibility engine and DU validation steps downstream.
Used UiPath Maestro, Document Understanding, Action Center, and OCR to pull and validate unstructured data off invoices and PDFs, holding accuracy above 94%.
