• Executing instrumentation and automation activities for PLC–SCADA based industrial projects in chemical, pharmaceutical, paint, and resin manufacturing plants.
• Performing installation, calibration, and validation of field instruments including pressure, temperature, flow, and level transmitters as per P&ID, datasheets, and project specifications.
• Conducting loop checking, IO verification, and signal validation between field instruments and PLC control systems.
• Supporting PLC programming verification and troubleshooting, including monitoring of control logic developed in Ladder Logic, FBD, and Structured Text environments.
• Participating in plant commissioning and startup activities, verifying control interlocks, alarm systems, and process safety sequences.
• Executing interlock testing and alarm verification through SCADA monitoring and PLC signal simulation.
• Supporting FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) by performing field-to-PLC signal testing and functional validation.
• Coordinating with electrical, mechanical, process, and client teams during project execution to ensure timely completion and system reliability.
• Preparing and maintaining commissioning documentation, loop folders, test records, and punch lists as per project requirements.
• Performing basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) to minimize system downtime and ensure smooth plant operation.
• Designing and developing HMI/SCADA screens, including process mimics, faceplates, alarm summaries, and trend displays for effective plant monitoring and control.
• Configuring HMI communication with PLCs (Ethernet/Modbus TCP/IP), ensuring reliable real-time data acquisition and visualization.
