About
I completed my Master’s degree in Chemistry at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) in July 2025. My Master’s research focused on cathode design for lithium–sulfur batteries, specifically on PEG polymer–coated carbon–sulfur composites.During this work, I gained hands-on experience in materials synthesis, electrode fabrication, coin and Swagelok cell assembly, and electrochemical characterization (GCD, CV, EIS, GITT), as well as structural and chemical characterization techniques including PXRD, FTIR, Raman spectroscopy, SEM, HRTEM, TGA, and ICP–OES.
Experience
Following my Master’s degree, I joined CSIR–Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI) as a Project Associate, where I am worked on sodium-based battery systems, including sodium-rich and lithium–sulfur batteries. My work includes lithium-sulfur batteries, sodium-ion batteries, hard carbon pre-sodiation techniques, half-cell fabrication (NMC/Graphite), electrode preparation, and electrochemical characterization techniques such as EIS and cycling studies.
