3D designer - Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO)

Currently working as a 3D designer in Alimco, a PSU of central government of India. Core responsibilities include- 3D scanning, Modeling and 3D printing. In addition to 3D role, has been a part of conventional fabricating team as well, fitted prosthesis and orthosis conventionally.

• Has undergone 01 month of extensive hands-on training programme on spinal orthotics, upper limb and lower limb orthotics by Expert P&O professionals at ALIMCO Kanpur.
• Has undergone 01 month of extensive hands-on training programme on digital technologies in 3D printing of prosthesis and orthosis at Design Innovation Centrer, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
• Evaluated patient histories, complaints and current symptoms to understand conditions and begin diagnostic processes.
• Fully fitted and fabricated 30+ AFO's to paediatrics and adults.
• Selected materials and made cast measurements, model modifications, and fitted devices.
• Fitted pre-fabricated appliances to 500+ patients.
