Project Description:
- The purpose of Data Minimization is to include new column based on the requirements from the downstream system with the use of SSIS and informatica developing the high-level changes.
Responsibilities:
Analysing business requirements, functional and technical specifications, creating test scenarios, test plans, designing test cases and execute thorough test suites in all phases of the software development cycle to ensure End-to-End data validation.
- Hands on experience on SQL queries and Informatica for validating business rules.
- Involved in Performance Tuning of Sources, Targets and Mappings.
- Used Source Analyzer and Warehouse Designer to import the sources and targets and the mapping designer to map source to the target.
- Created and executed sessions using Workflow Manager.
- Prepared unit test cases to meet the business requirements.
- Defect tracking via Jira.
2.JOHN DE-INFORMATICA MF SUPPORT
Client : John Deere
Role : ETL Developer & Production Support.
Environment : Informatica Power Center 10.1, Squirrel SQL, Mainframe
Responsibilities:
Performed fine tuning of existing mappings in order to increase the increase the performance of mapping.
- Hands on experience on SQL queries and Informatica for validating business rules.
- Monitored data warehouse month-end loads to ensure successful completion.
- Experience in 24/7 production support. ETL executions and resolving the root causes.
- Involved in the development of informatica mappings and sessions and tuned their performance for optimum performance.
- Update Problem ticket with resolution post the issue fix. Raise defect to further track the issue for the development fix
- Handled Data conversion functions and defined constraints, indexes and views based on requirement.
- Used error handling to capture data errors in error tables to correct and reprocess them by analysis and error remediation process.
- Avoided duplicate issues through SQL override using lookup and joiner transformations.
- Investigated and fixed problems encountered in the production environment on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide infrastructure support & validation.
