Industrial Designer with 6 years of Industrial and Mechanical Design expertise, adept at merging creative concepts with robust engineering. Proficient in cutting-edge design tools, delivering innovative, visually appealing, and functional products. Expertise in 2D and 3D CAD design. Skilled in collaborative, multidisciplinary teamwork to exceed client expectations
I am an Industrial Designer with 6+ years of experience in industrial and mechanical product design. My career journey began at Borosil Scientific Ltd., where I worked as a Junior Design Engineer and later as a Lead Design Engineer, developing over 30+ scientific instruments, laboratory equipment, and functional prototypes. I gained strong expertise in manufacturing processes like injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, die casting, CNC machining, and 3D printing, along with standards, IP ratings, and ISO documentation.
Later, I joined Health ATM India Pvt. Ltd., where I designed kiosk-based health diagnostic devices, handling the complete cycle from concept sketching and CAD modeling to prototyping and production. Currently, I am a Product Designer at IndoAI Technologies Ltd., where I design AI-powered security cameras, integrating sensitive electronics like high-end processors, network modules, and camera sensors into robust housings.
My role involves end-to-end product design, material selection, packaging design, testing, and collaboration with R&D and manufacturing teams.
Across all roles, I have demonstrated a strong ability to merge aesthetics, functionality, and manufacturability, delivering innovative solutions in IoT hardware, AI devices, and scientific equipment.
I hold a Master of Design (M.Des) in Industrial Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT Delhi) with a GPA of 9.03/10 (2022–2024). At IIT Delhi, I focused on design research, prototyping, and user-centered product development, working on projects like portable vaccine thawing devices, air quality monitoring systems (Vayu), and compact Health ATM concepts.
Before that, I earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from NMAM Institute of Technology, Nitte with a GPA of 7.42/10 (2015–2018). During this time, I gained a solid foundation in mechanical systems, product engineering, and fabrication processes, and developed award-winning projects such as the Patient Lift & Shift System and the Arecanut Bunch Beater (recognized at Krishi Yantra Mela 2015).
This strong blend of engineering fundamentals and design thinking enables me to create products that are both innovative and practical for real-world applications.
