Over the past 2+ years, I've had the privilege of working on cutting-edge research projects that have expanded my knowledge and expertise. As a Research Assistant at Praveen's Lab in the Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Regenerative Medicine (DBT-inStem), I am currently immersed in the development of an injectable hydrogel-based drug delivery system. This technology aims to provide controlled delivery of both biologicals and small molecule drugs, with the potential to revolutionize drug administration.
Previously, during my tenure as a Research Intern at Umesh Varshney's Lab at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), I was involved in a significant project focused on understanding the hypervirulence of Klebsiella pneumoniae. My work in this lab allowed me to delve into genetic manipulation techniques and explore ways to control hypervirulence.
My educational background includes a Master's degree in Biotechnology from REVA University. Additionally, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Bangalore University focusing on Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Genetics.
