• Led in-house development of LMFP pouch cells, including energy density benchmarking vs LFP and formation optimization (DoE) to achieve ~1000 cycle life for mobility applications.
• Designed and developed LFP & LMFP cells across coin and pouch formats for BESS and mobility material validation and applications.
• Conducted electrochemical testing, cycle life estimation, and performance validation of graphite - LFP & LMFP systems.
• Fabricated and tested pouch and coin cells; optimized SEI/formation protocols using DoE and SPC to enhance performance and reliability.
• Performed teardown and characterization of commercial lithium-ion (LFP) cells, including BOM analysis; evaluated electrode architecture, DCIR, N/P ratio, and failure modes with DFMEA correlation.
• Supported lab pre-pilot line setup (RFQs, FAT/SAT) and ensured compliance via SOPs, safety protocols, and risk analysis (failure modes, cycle life, particle effects).
• Contributed to Hithium technology transfer, including gap analysis, process absorption, and pilot localization readiness.
