Cryptocurrency payment gateway platform (Angular front end, CodeIgniter/PHP back end) used by merchants worldwide to accept crypto payments. Took ownership of the platform mid-project, modernized its architecture, and grew it into a full-featured, multi-portal payment ecosystem.
- Took over an existing production website from a prior team; the platform suffered frequent disruptions because it relied on small, unreputable payment gateways whose APIs would shut down soon after going live, and it used a dated interface.
- Independently set up the original hosting environment on a Windows Server — installing PHP, MySQL, Node.js, Angular, and other dependencies — required at the time because completing a transaction depended on running a native .exe process.
- Upgraded the front end from Angular 6 to Angular 12 and the back end to the then-latest PHP 7.4, alongside a full UI redesign to a modern interface.
- Re-architected the application from a single URL that toggled master-admin and merchant views via show/hide logic — which had made the codebase large and difficult to extend — into separate, purpose-built master, merchant, and public payment portals.
- Split a single, rapidly growing MySQL database into three dedicated databases aligned to the new portal structure, improving performance and scalability after indexing and foreign-key optimizations alone were no longer sufficient.
- Master admin portal: create/manage merchants and sub-admins, enable or disable payment gateways and supported cryptocurrencies, and configure transaction fees.
- Merchant portal: generate unique payment collection URLs, choose which cryptocurrencies to display, and set minimum/maximum transaction limits across multiple pages.
- Public payment pages: dynamic, merchant-specific pages where end customers pay via a unique, auto-generated QR code per transaction.
- Integrated multiple crypto payment gateways (Scrypt, BVNK, Vaultody) using cURL; built inbound/outbound webhook handling for real-time invoice updates and Cron-based status reconciliation.
- Designed per-merchant sequential invoicing, merchant crypto withdrawal functionality, and configurable merchant fee/gateway profiles managed by master admin.
- Collaborated using Bitbucket for version control and Asana for sprint planning and daily task tracking.

- Developed teacher and student portals enabling live online classes via Zoom API integration.
