Amartya Banerjee

I have over 20 + years of experience in higher education management and institution building, with a passion for innovation and excellence. In my present role I am responsible for overseeing the placement and internship of 2000 students from seven different schools, mentoring an alumni network of 15000 members, and leading the academic and non-academic administration of the School of Design.

In addition, I am the founder and director of Kolkata Design Festival (KDF), a platform that celebrates and promotes design, culture, and creativity in the region. I have also held several leadership roles in different schools and departments within NSHM, such as the School of Business & Management & School of Media, where I have driven strategic growth, stakeholder engagement, and quality improvement initiatives. Previously, I have worked as a Principal of acquisitions and partnerships for Galileo Global Education, and as an independent consultant for higher education and institution building for Leopard Edu Solutions.

I have a strong background in marketing communications, public relations, and media management, and I have leveraged my skills and expertise to enhance the brand visibility, reputation, and impact of the organizations I have worked for.
